I just read on John Mayer Brazil that Born and Raised has earned the #1 spot on the list of most pre-ordered albums.
And the record haven’t even dropped yet!

This album is taking me on such an emotional trip! I can’t deal with how amazingly talented John Mayer is. “If I Ever Get Around to Living” is punching me in the guts because it’s hitting home. I’m experiencing the same mental trip from when I heard “Rubber Soul” for the first time. I never thought it would be possible for someone to get even close to topping my favorite Beatles record but he is definitely very close to doing so.

#BornandRaised after shock - Late Edition
Listening to Born and Raised is like entering a time machine. You open the door unsuspectedly, step inside and look around. The door shuts behind you and the machine starts to move. All of a sudden, decades and decades are flying in front your eyes. Each song seems like a different era. I just landed on the “If I Ever Get Around to Living” age and I think I’m gonna stay here for a while.
Outside this machine there’s a dull world and I’m tired of it. I’m gonna hang around and learn what this guy is singing about.

Listen to Entire Born and Raised Album for Free
I listened to it last night before going to bed. I’m not even embarrassed to say that I cried myself to sleep while the album was still streaming. It was one of the most restful nights I’ve had in a very long time. This album is also bringing me peace. My soul is in need of rest.
I finally found my little piece of heaven.

I listened to the record last Wednesday on my flight to Los Angeles. Gave it one more go round before it went out into the world… one last little listen as being just mine. It’s brought me so much joy and company and peace, and I hope it will do the same for you.

John Clayton Mayer is such a cool guy, he’ll let you listen to his WHOLE album before you decide to buy it. I know that we didn’t have to hear one second of this album to buy it but we’re hardcore fans, thats what we do!!

By now most of you know that Born and Raised leaked. I just want to remind you that even if you downloaded the bootleg, please remember to also buy the original work from the artist. John made this album with so much love and there’s a lot more people involved in the making of Born and Raised so show your support to John and team by purchasing a copy (digital or physical). The album drops on May 22. I know you’re excited for this, trust me I am, too! We’ve been following JM during the making of this album for a good year and a half!
And how cool is it that he includes us in every step of the way? How many times has this man shown up in random bars around the country to ‘test drive’ his latest lyrical endeavors?
How many musicians out there can confidently say that they are transparent with their fans the same way John is with us??
